Downton Abbey Town & Country Filming Locations Tour for 2
With Downton Abbey’s final season now in full swing, this is a fabulous opportunity to explore some of the fantastic show’s unforgettable locations. This Country Film Location Tour can be appreciated by both Die Hard fans and Dilettantes alike.
On the day you will meet at Temple Underground Station where your guide will be standing next to the station entrance.
Then you will board the mini coach and set off.
You will visit filming locations in central London before heading out to Oxfordshire and to the home of Mr Drew at Yew Tree Farm where you will enjoy a tour and cream tea.
You can also purchase lunch here before continuing into the heart of rural Oxfordshire, where you will explore Kirkbymoorside, The Swan Inn, and other wonderful locations recognizable from the show. Your tour will finish at Downton village where you can see familiar sites such as exteriors of Downton hospital, the village pub, the former home of Matthew Crawley and the local church, amongst others.

Tours must be pre-booked and are available on selected Saturdays starting at 08.30, from April to October.
We recommend you book at least four weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available.This is only a guideline and we advise you to book as early as possible to ensure that dates are available before the expiry date listed on your voucher. All bookings are subject to availability.
How long should I allow for this experience?
The tour lasts for approximately 10 hours.
Please note that the tour does not include Downton Abbey due to the limited opening times of Highclere Castle; the exterior of which is not viewable from any publicly accessible areas.

What about insurance?
The centres contracted with us hold public liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.
