Get your creative skills to work with state-of-the-art equipment and guidance from professional glassmakers, Our glamorous Glassmaking Taster Day for One has all you need for an exciting and unusual experience you’ll remember.
You’ll be working with hot molten glass straight from the furnace so you’ll need extreme attention to detail and a steady pair of hands as well as creativity to master this skill.
You’ll learn what the equipment in the studio is used for and how to work safely in a challenging environment. You’ll even have the chance to create your own piece of glass work to keep. Your work will need to be left overnight in order to anneal, so you may choose to have it delivered to you at a later date.
This is very much a hands-on experience and you will be joined by other students to work as a team with your tutor. One thing’s for sure, you’ll never look at a glass vase in the same way again.
