Two Night Yurt Break in Devon Experience
Escape to Devon and camp in style!
The Yurt sleeps up to four people, but you can take your family, a group of friends, or go by yourself if you seek some time alone in the country in which to reflect.
You will be camping ‘off the grid’ with this unusual yet serene two night break. The yurt has its own power supply and there is a kitchenette, shower and flushing toilet available for your convenience.
There is a local town and villages a short distance away should you wish to venture into inhabited areas, or just relax and enjoy the flora and fauna.
What happens on the day?
On arrival you will be greeted and shown to the yurt you will be staying in. Staying in a traditional yurt is ideally suited for both families and groups, as a private retreat and for those who would like to camp in a serene and peaceful location, with an unusual twist, in the heart of the Devon countryside. There is a small communal but well equipped kitchenette with full use of crockery, cutlery and utensils as well as a washroom complete with a shower and flushing toilet.
Totnes, the nearest town has weekly markets and a large selection of highly individual small shops along with the regular supermarkets and pharmacies. The nearby local villages of Broadhempston, Littlehempston and Staverton have a selection of pubs and inns with excellent food and local produce featured on their menus.
Upon purchasing a gift experience from toxicfox.co.uk you will be sent a beautiful presentation pack in the post, this will detail the experience day purchased and how you can book in.

How long should I allow for this experience?
Yurts are available from 16.00 on the day of your arrival. You will be asked to leave before 11.00 on the morning of departure.
Your voucher is valid for a booking of up to four people - please advise numbers when booking.
Due to the rural location the experience is not suitable for wheelchair users.
Unfortunately, since the area is surrounded by grazing farmland, pets (including dogs) are not allowed on site.
Due to local council restrictions you are advised that noise levels should be kept to a minimum after 21.00.
Please be responsible for your children's safety at all times, especially around hot stoves, camp fires, the river and lake.
The experience content, equipment used and restrictions may vary according to location.
