Down Syndrome Awareness
Deana & Orlah

A couple of weeks ago we received a request from one of our fans which really touched our hearts.
Deana (mother of an incredible little girl called Orlah) reached out asking for us to help create a character which better aligned with her daughter, who has Down syndrome, and we simply could not wait to jump in to bring this little girls character to life.
Our whole mission is about making people feel seen, celebrated, and part of something bigger—so this was exactly the kind of request that fuels us.
With Orlah and Deana leading the way, we got to work.

Together, we reimagined one of our characters, paying special attention to eye shapes, brows, and little details to make sure it truly represented our incredible DS community.
To say that Orlah and Deana “helped with this” would be a huge understatement!! These two were the driving force behind it all.
From weeks of communications, image sharing and endless valuable streams of insight, their passion and dedication to build awareness really impacted the team and we simply can not thank you enough.

Now, with Deana, Orlah, and their incredible community’s seal of approval, we’re beyond excited to share that over the next few weeks, Down syndrome-inclusive character options will be available across all our character builders. And we couldn’t be prouder.
A huge, heartfelt thank you to Deana and Orlah for your trust, your vision, and for reminding us why we do what we do. This is what it’s all about. 💛
